Safe Whispers is an add-on to prevent accidentally sending whispers with the users status set to "Offline" or "Do-Not-Disturb".
This add-on will optionally set your status to "Online" automatically when the chat window is set to whisper another user while set to "Offline" or "Do-Not-Disturb", as well as alerting you through a chat message if your status was changed and whether replies will be received.
If the Auto-Online setting is disabled the add-on will alert you that replies will not be received without changing your status.
Optional Keybound toggle for quick activation and deactivation of the add-on!
Add-On Options:
Use Account-Wide Settings: (Default, On) Uses account wide settings for this add-on; set to off to change settings on a per character basis.
Add-On Activated: Setting this to off effectively disables the add-on, allowing the user to send whispers while offline without changing the users status or displaying alerts.
Auto-Online: When set to on the add-on automatically changes the users status to online when the chat window changes to whisper mode, when set to off an alert is displayed but no status change occurs.
